Rights Optimization Intern

The Rights Optimization department handles Concord’s assets at YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Rights optimization includes monetizing our assets on these platforms so that our songwriters and artists get paid for uses of their work.
As the Rights Optimization Intern, you will will gain a comprehensive understanding of sound recording rights management, with a focus on digital platform optimization. The intern will work directly on active projects alongside the rights optimization team, gaining practical experience in catalog management and digital rights enforcement while contributing to the protection and monetization of Concord’s sound recordings.
Our paid internship program will give you a unique opportunity to enhance your professional skillset, increase your knowledge of the industry, and expand your network. Our goal is to help you develop your talents as well as receive dedicated mentorship and support. Our Fall Internship Program will run from Tuesday, September 16th – Friday, November 21st and allows interns to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This internship is a paid in-person opportunity and requires the ability to work in the specified office location.
What you’ll do:
- Navigating and utilizing the YouTube Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Optimizing video content for rights protection and performance
- Identifying and resolving rights conflicts and infringement issues
- Understanding and participating in the content claiming process

- This internship is a part-time paid internship and requires someone located in/near Nashville.
- The timeline of this internship program runs from Tuesday, September 16th – Friday, November 21st, you must be able to work 20 hours/week.
