Audit and Assurance Internship - June 2026

As an Audit and Assurance intern, you'll have the opportunity to gain valuable insight and hands-on experience in the world of Audit and Assurance, while becoming part of a supportive team that will guide you each step of the way.
During your time at LGA, you will:
- Hands-On Experience: Get directly involved in audits and audit reviews, gaining practical knowledge and skills essential for a successful career in audit and assurance.
- Develop Key Skills: Become familiar with various aspects of the audit service line, working on diverse projects that will broaden your understanding of audit processes and methodologies.
- Collaborate with Professionals: Work closely with experienced A&A professionals who will mentor and support you as you grow your technical expertise.
- Become Part of the Team: Be fully integrated into our culture, attend firm events, and build meaningful relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Career Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions, receive performance feedback, and get the opportunity to explore various pathways within public accounting.
Responsibilities and Skills:
- Has a strong interest in and work towards developing an awareness in the A&A arena to plan and perform audits and compilation engagements in various owner-managed businesses for a number of different industries.
- Exude intellectual curiosity, have strong analytical and attention to detail skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to interact and communicate confidently and concisely with various levels of firm management in both written and verbal form.
- Be self-motivated and energic with the ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.
- Produce high quality work which adheres to the relevant professional standards.
- Be adept at utilizing various A&A software as well as Adobe, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- An ability to balance between differing tasks and time management
- Eagerness to contribute to a fast-growing, team environment
- Able to work on-site for 32 hours per week (Monday-Thursday)
Education and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related concentration
