Why this role matters

You’ll make sure our waste, recycling, and remediation projects stay safe, compliant, and on schedule. Your reports land on leaders’ desks, your vendor audits keep risk low, and your intranet updates reach 15,000 teammates.

What you’ll tackle

Approve waste vendors – review ≈ 20 facilities a year against internal and regulatory checklists.

Turn data into insight – build pivot tables & VLOOKUPs, then package findings into two-page summaries.

Keep everyone informed – refresh the EHS intranet each month and brief cross-functional teams weekly.

Support clean-up work – track remediation data, draft filings for agencies, and spot trends early.

Juggle projects – manage 5-8 tasks at a time, setting your own deadlines and priorities.

You’ll fit right in if you have

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or similar field.

Excel confidence – pivots, lookups, and data-validation feel routine.

Reg-basics – RCRA, CERCLA, or comparable course/lab exposure.

Clear communication – can explain technical points in < 500 words and present them live.

Self-direction – plan your week, adapt to change, and hit ≥ 95 % of milestones without hand-holding.

Bonus experience we’ll notice

Hands-on waste, recycling, or disposal project (class, internship, or job).

Phase I/II ESA or site-remediation work.

24-hr HAZWOPER or Associate CHMM credential.

Time in telecom, utilities, or other large-network operations.

Familiarity with corporate EHS or document-control databases.

Work style & growth

First few weeks are fully on-site for training; then settle into the 2/3 hybrid rhythm.

Expect occasional local drives to vendor or remediation sites (vehicle provided).

Typical path: EHS Senior Analyst in ~24 months, project lead in ~36 months.
