Marketing & Member Relations Manager

The Marketing & Member Relations Manager leads and implements marketing, communications, tourism, and membership initiatives in alignment with the Chamber’s strategic goals and vision. This individual serves as a key ambassador for the Chamber, fostering strong relationships with members, visitors, and the community. This position reports to the Chamber’s Executive Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison for the Board of Directors, members, and tourists, ensuring a high standard of customer service
  • Manage and maintain the Chamber’s website and member database
  • Develop and execute content for social media platforms to expand audience engagement; stay current with emerging trends and tools with photography and video
  • Report quarterly on website traffic and social media performance; identify and act on opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in planning, promoting, and executing Chamber events
  • Design marketing materials for events (e.g., brochures, posters)
  • Collaborate on the production and editing of the annual Vacation Planner & Guide
  • Attend Board meetings, take accurate meeting minutes and collaborate with the Secretary for approval
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communications

Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based, with occasional local travel
  • Some evening and weekend hours required for events
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs for event or office setup

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, branding, advertising, or community outreach
  • High proficiency with social media, email marketing (e.g., Mailchimp), database and website management
  • Knowledge of Adobe programs (i.e. InDesign and Photoshop)
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Event planning and project management experience a plus
  • Understanding of tourism and destination marketing
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset
