Job Title: Business Development Intern
Type of Job: Internship – Commission-Based

Job Overview
As a Business Development Intern at Duckfund, you will gain hands-on experience in the PropTech/CRE tech startup space. This commission-based role offers you an opportunity to earn while you learn and develop valuable sales and business development skills in a high-growth environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute directly to the company’s growth while developing your career in the commercial real estate finance sector. The internship is remote and flexible, giving you the chance to manage your schedule and work independently.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Engage with potential client: CRE Investors and Developers.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools to identify and reach out to prospects.
  • Manage client interactions through CRM systems.
  • Refine pitching, negotiation, and relationship-building skills by collaborating with experienced sales professionals.
  • Assist in market research to identify new opportunities for Duckfund’s EMD financing solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and processes that drive lead generation and increase conversion rates.

Qualifications
Must-Have

  • Strong interest in commercial real estate and PropTech sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with potential clients.
  • Self-starter with a go-getter attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with learning new digital tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Previous sales or business development experience in CRE is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools or AI-based sales automation platforms is an advantage.
  • Passion for innovation and a desire to grow in the CRE financing space.
