We take pride in bringing our clients’ visions to life. As our client base grows, we are expanding our team to include a Sales Associate focused on supporting our Account Executives, cultivating relationships, generating leads, and helping our team win new business.
Role Overview:
As a Sales Associate at Blue Peak Tents, you’ll help drive growth by connecting with new clients and introducing them to our services. You'll engage with planners, venues, and corporate clients, while also supporting our Account Executives on key accounts. This hands-on role offers a strong introduction to the industry and a path toward managing your own book of business. Ideal candidates are outgoing, organized, and motivated by building relationships and solving problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify new partnership opportunities with planners, agencies, venues, and production partners.
- Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, social platforms, and in-person networking.
- Schedule discovery calls with interested leads, gathering key project info to hand off or qualify further.
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and contact identified leads to support outreach strategy.
Lead Qualification & Pipeline Development
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and conduct initial qualification calls.
- Assign qualified leads in CRM (HubSpot) with accurate info and ensure Account Managers are aligned.
- Assist Account Managers in lead nurturing to ensure timely and personalized follow-ups.
- Maintain pipeline hygiene: log activity, manage statuses, flag stale leads, and schedule follow-ups.
Sales Team Enablement
- Support Account Managers by prepping basic proposal details or site research as needed.
- Share insights from prospect conversations that inform improvements or marketing opportunities.
- Help track early-stage metrics (sources, win rates) to improve performance across Sales team.
Expectations:
- A natural relationship-builder who’s curious and confident on the phone and in-person.
- Strong attention to detail, with a knack for translating vague client ideas into actionable plans.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed, no task is too small.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in sales or client-facing roles (event or hospitality industry preferred)
- Comfortable making outbound calls, networking, and initiating conversations with new contacts
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage follow-ups and opportunity details consistently
- Proficient in using CRM tools (preferably HubSpot) to manage leads and track sales activity
- Ability to balance fast-paced task work with longer-term relationship building
