full-time veterinarian

We are a privately owned, 1.5 doctor small animal practice looking for a full-time veterinarian to add to our clinic. The ideal candidate would love people as much as animals, have an interest in small animal surgery and internal medicine, be emotionally mature in all situations, enjoy educating clients, and have a love of continual life-long learning.  Salary is negotiable, with a base pay and then production. You will be happily rewarded for great work and a caring personality. We don't concentrate on the bottom line but on building strong client relationships and your quality of life. We have several specialty doctors that support our practice, including a board certified orthopedic surgeon, internal medicine specialist and ophthalmologist. Our clients are the best and want the best for their fur babies. They are willing and able to work up cases, which makes your job fun and interesting. Our staff is very close and each staff member takes ownership for their area of responsibility. They love their jobs and enjoy working with each other.

We are located in Salem, South Carolina, on Lake Keowee, near Clemson University. 

Four-day work week, with the potential to have every other Friday off. Closed on Saturday and Sunday with no after-hours emergencies.
