Position Summary:
Exceptional Care for Children (ECC), a pediatric skilled nursing facility, is seeking a Development & Social Media Intern to support the Development Office. This position will assist with fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, event planning, and social media management. The internship runs from September to December 2025, with start and end dates determined by mutual agreement. A stipend of $1,500 will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with donor outreach and stewardship activities.
· Support planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns.
· Create and schedule social media content to increase visibility and engagement.
· Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics.
· Conduct prospect research and maintain donor records.
· Draft donor communications, including thank-you letters and newsletters.
· Provide general administrative support to the Development Office.
Qualifications:
· Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn).
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
· Interest in nonprofit work and pediatric healthcare preferred.
Hours & Compensation:
· Approximately 10-15 hours per week.
· Flexible schedule based on intern's availability and ECC's needs.
· Stipend of $1,500 paid at the conclusion of the internship.
