Video Specialist

Video Specialist

 

Reports to: Director of Production and Communication              Date: June 2025

The employee will be required to live on and off-duty in accordance with the Ministry’s statement of faith, code of conduct, and general beliefs.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

  1. Produce (storyboard, shoot and edit) engaging video content for our in-person and online worship experiences. This includes stories, ministry highlights, sermon bumpers, event recaps and more.
  2. Produce (storyboard, shoot and edit) meaningful content for our Digital Outreach platforms. This includes videos for our website, churchwide communication, social media and more.
  3. Collaborate and produce videos that support other ministries and events.
  4. Be a developer of leaders: Inviting, equipping and realeasing video volunteers and helping to grow our team.
  5. Lead our photography team and lead volunteers and the content
  6. Serve in production roles for IMAG and live broadcast as assigned. 
  7. Carry out administrative responsibilities (meetings, weekly reports, correspondence, follow-up).

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. A follower of Jesus Christ who desires to use video and creative skills to impact the local church and world.
  2. Knowledge of video production techniques including editing, lighting, audio, and operating/maintaining video equipment. 
  3. Familiarity using the Adobe Creative Suite, including Premier, After Effects and Photoshop. Experience and applied knowledge of graphic design preferred.
  4. Storytelling
  5. Knowledge of ProPresenter is helpful

TIME COMMITMENT:

Full-time (40-45 hours per week)

To provide media content and contribute to worship experiences and digital outreach, which will help people discover faith in Jesus Christ and to grow in fuller devotion to Him.
