Volunteer Services Intern

This is an unpaid, in-person internship position.

Primary Tasks:

·         Support Volunteer Service staff by making phone calls and sending e-mails to volunteers with additional opportunities

·         Assist Volunteer Manager with volunteer data cleanup projects 

·         Participate in strategic discussions regarding the Volunteer program to provide quality customer service to all Wish Granters

·         Review and update confidential volunteer and wish kid information in Salesforce

·         Research and help recruit volunteers in the Chapter's territory especially the designated “most need” areas

·         Help prepare and set up for Volunteer Wish Granter Trainings

·         Work with the Volunteer Manager to improve wish process and establish solutions to ongoing wish-granting concerns

·         Assist with wish delivery as needed, depending on current wishes
