Instructional Technologist
This position serves as Tier 3 support for the learning management systems (LMS) and liaises with academic departments. Additionally, this position oversees digital scholarship projects and delivers learning technology workshops for faculty, staff, and graduate and undergraduate students.
This position may require travel between campuses as well as occasional evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
Essential Functions
Provides instructional design consultation to faculty on using technology in teaching environments.
Assists faculty in selecting and implementing technology-based teaching approaches and materials.
Serves as Tier 3 support person for learning management system (LMS).
Liaises between IT and assigned academic departments as an educational technology resource.
Supports faculty digital scholarship projects on platforms like WordPress and Omeka.
Provides workshops on the latest technological developments in teaching and learning to the Faculty.

Researches new instructional technologies and advises on adoption to the Faculty.
Supports digital scholarship (and its related content development) and fosters the digital humanities as assigned.
Provides accessibility consultations for faculty and students.
Creates training materials and resources for faculty self-learners.
