Data Scientist Analyst

Intuitive Analytica, a forward-thinking marketing and digital agency, is seeking a talented Data Scientist / Analyst to join as an intern as part of our growing team. This role will be instrumental in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions, develop predictive models, and build the analytical foundation for our AI and Agentic AI applications. It will provide a great opportunity to get some hands on experience in an innovative environment.

 

As a Data Scientist / Analyst, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping our data-driven strategies. Your work will directly impact our ability to understand market trends, optimize campaigns, and develop intelligent systems that enhance our offerings and client value. This is an on-site position, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities will include a subset of:

  • Data Analysis: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights relevant to marketing and business objectives.
  • Machine Learning Model Development: Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to extract predictive insights, automate data processing, and support decision-making.
  • AI/Agentic AI Integration: Write and maintain data integrations to drive the development and deployment of AI and Agentic AI applications, ensuring seamless data flow and model performance.
  • Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across various departments.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data used for analysis and model development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, development, and product teams to define data requirements, implement solutions, and integrate analytical insights into business processes.
  • Experimentation and A/B Testing: Design and analyze experiments, including A/B tests, to evaluate the impact of different strategies and optimizations.
  • Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies, applying new techniques and tools as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Experience in a data science or data analysis with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
    • Experience with SQL and relational databases; familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.
    • Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
    • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage, processing, and machine learning services.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Solid understanding of statistical concepts and their application in data analysis and model validation.
  • AI/ML Concepts: Understanding of fundamental AI and Agentic AI concepts and architectures.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
