Operations Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
We're looking for a bilingual (English & Spanish – or Portuguese) highly motivated Operations Manager to join our operations team. The operations manager is responsible for all aspects of operations management connected with the client's satisfaction. This includes professional communication, staffing, reports, cleanliness routine, preventive maintenance plans, improving the employee's and supervisors' productivity, and carrying out pre-planned cleaning programs.
He/she will monitor progress, manage/oversee/assign the delivery of materials, carry out safety checks, and sort out any problems that could hold up work as they arise. An Operations Manager will also keep in close contact with clients, managers, supervisors, and employees at all times. They will also ensure that work complies with regulations and health and safety legislation, as well as other legal requirements.
The specific duties of an Operations Manager include formulating strategies, improving performance, procuring material and resources, and securing compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase the quality of customer service, and implement best practices across all levels.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Be able to read, write, speak and understand English and Spanish (or Portuguese);
- Have a clean and neat appearance.
- Meet necessary health and physical qualifications.
- Hold recognized training/qualifications associated with premises management.
- The ability to understand and apply regulations such as health & safety and manual handling.
- To be able to use small industrial, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
- Staff management experience.
