About the Job
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Teacher Operations Specialist to join our growing Teacher Operations team. This role is critical to enhancing day-to-day operations, improving teacher performance, and elevating the overall teacher experience on our platform. You will be responsible for leveraging data, insights, and process improvements to support and scale a high-performing, satisfied, and engaged teaching community.
What You Will Do:
- Monitor and drive teacher engagement by improving feature adoption (e.g., chat, homework, app usage, attendance) and identifying friction points through data analysis.
- Manage teacher attendance and compliance by tracking class participation, flagging risks, and coaching underperforming tutors.
- Prevent teacher drop-off with systems to track inactivity, re-engage dormant teachers, and support those returning from hiatus.
- Improve student renewal rates by analyzing teacher-related factors and working with mentors to boost retention.
- Optimize tutor productivity and earnings through segmentation, training campaigns, and process improvements.

Boost teacher satisfaction and retention by analyzing NPS surveys, addressing feedback trends, and running loyalty initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with data dashboards, Excel/Google Sheets, or BI tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and coach teachers through written and verbal channels
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Passion for education, teacher empowerment, and process improvement
- Self-motivated, accountable, and detail-oriented
- Experience in working in a startup environment is a plus
Please note:
While strong data analysis and strategic thinking skills are important for this role, a large part of the day-to-day responsibilities will involve hands-on operational work. We’re looking for someone who not only excels in big-picture thinking but is also willing to roll up their sleeves and tackle execution-focused tasks with care and persistence. Having the right expectations and a willingness to dive into the details is critical to this position.
Compensation:
USD 55,000 - 65,000/year with a comprehensive employee benefit package
