Clerical Intern – Sales & Operations Support

Internship Overview

White Space is seeking a detail-oriented summer intern to assist with general clerical work, data entry, and research tasks supporting our Sales and Operations departments. This fully in-person position will provide an opportunity to gain real-world experience working within a collaborative team environment while developing an understanding of how custom FF&E projects move from initial lead through fulfillment.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Enter and update client and sales data into HubSpot, Excel, QuickBooks, Monday.com, and SharePoint

· Conduct basic sales research, including lead enrichment and persona development

· Support internal team members with general data organization and clerical tasks

· Learn and apply consistent processes for digital data entry and file management

· Participate in team meetings or shadow internal communications as needed

Skills & Qualifications (Required/Preferred)

Required:

· Attention to detail and accuracy in clerical or data entry tasks

· Comfort using basic office software (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)

· Strong written communication and organizational skills

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

Preferred:

· Interest in business operations, B2B sales support, or project management

· Familiarity with HubSpot, QuickBooks, Monday.com, or SharePoint is a plus

· Typing of 65+ wpm

Internship Details

· Start/End Dates: July – August 2025 (based on student’s academic schedule)

· Hours: 12–16 hours/week, flexible between 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday

· Rate of Pay: $15/hour (paid position)

· Work Environment: Fully in-person, small office of 7 staff members

Professional Learning Outcome

By the end of the internship, the student will gain a working understanding of deal flow processes in a specialized B2B environment and hands-on experience with widely used business software platforms. The intern will also develop skills in professional data handling, organizational support, and internal business operations.

Special Considerations

· Intern must be able to work in-person in Reno, NV (Gentry Way)

· Completion of an NDA is required prior to onboarding
