Our product lines include Optical components, Tunable lasers and Optical instruments, OCT system, PC Software. Specifically, we manufacture Tap Photo-detectors and Arrays, VOAs, MEMS VOAs, WDM filters, Mux and Demux products, Tunable Lasers, Tunable Filters, PER Meters, LCOS based WSS module, Scanning lasers for optical coherent tomography.

Our headquarter is based in Photonics Valley Ohkusa Campus in Japan. To serve our global customer base, our global offices are located in USA, UK, China and Canada.

Job Type:

Full-Time Exempted

Salary: starting from $65k depending on experience

Responsibilities

Sales of tunable lasers and other instruments. 

To fulfill the responsibilities, Candidate will need to perform the following functions:

  • Make sales calls and contact prospective customers, negotiate specifications, pricing and delivery to increase sales.
  • Demonstrate products and their usage, keep up to date product knowledge.
  • Travel to customer locations to makes sales presentations and other locations as needed.
  • Attend trade exhibition to promote products and services.
  • Create and forward quotations and other technical proposals to customers.
  • Communicate with the production and research and development staffs of Santec in both the United States and Japan, as well as any other locations Santec may have.
  • Employee will also be expected to make post-sale follow ups with the customers, submit weekly and monthly projected goals, strategies and sales planning reports as well as quarterly and annual goal and achievement reports.
  • Develop new business opportunities.
  • Analyze customer’s needs and recommend products.

 

Qualification:

Candidates must have:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to problem solve.
  • Prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
