
Construction Engineer/Project Administrator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Construction Engineer/Project Administrator to join our growing team. This dual role supports project execution from planning through close-out, ensuring timelines, budgets, and technical requirements are met. The ideal Candidate will bring strong organizational skills, field knowledge, and a proactive mindset to support both office and on-site operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in construction, electrical contracting, or a similar role preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or project management software (Procore, PlanGrid, McCormick etc.)
- Familiarity with construction drawings, schedules, and project management documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, foreman, and field staff to support scheduling, procurement, and logistics.
- Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and job documentation.
- Support cost control efforts by monitoring budgets and updating financial tracking tools.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specs and safety standards.
- Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to support timely and accurate project delivery.
- Assist in preparing reports, documentation, and projecting close-out materials.
- Maintain up-to-date drawings and as builds.
