REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN (RBT)
Full-time In-Clinic position
Pay: From $18.00 per hour, performance and experience based
Expected hours: 35+ per week
Job description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. Current positions for clinical site only.
Open hours 8-5pm Monday-Friday.
The RBT will work with individuals, 2-19 years old, in a clinical setting. This role involves implementing behavior plans and providing direct support to clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We are a small clinic that serves children in Etowah County, Alabama. We provide services for children with autism and other developmental disabilities or mental health needs, up to 19 years old.
Experience preferred.
Preference to currently certified individuals.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA
- Collect and record data on client behavior
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support clients in developing social skills and functional communication
- Collaborate with the BCBA to review client progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress and behaviors
-Maintain certification via BACB and abide by ethical code.
Skills
- Proficiency in data collection and documentation
- Experience working with children in with developmental disabilities or special education settings
- Ability to work closely with other professionals
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with care plans and medical records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
-Physical ability to move from standing to sitting, fast paced activities and potential to lift 25lbs
-Able to reliably commute to Etowah County
