Hybrid – Must be based in New York and able to regularly commute to a local headquarters
 

Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Trade Show Event Manager on behalf of our client located in the New York area. This full-time, hybrid position is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented professional with experience leading trade shows, conferences, and corporate events. The ideal candidate will be local to the organization’s headquarters and able to travel as needed.

 

The Trade Show Event Manager plays a key role in the execution and management of corporate events and trade shows across multiple industries. This role will lead all phases of event planning, including logistics, budget management, booth design, marketing support, and onsite coordination. Additionally, this role contributes to brand consistency and lead generation through event performance tracking and cross-departmental collaboration.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Identify and manage a calendar of relevant trade shows and conferences
  • Negotiate booth spaces, sponsorships, and vendor contracts
  • Plan event schedules, staffing, and objectives with ROI tracking

Booth & Display Design

  • Collaborate with creative teams and exhibit builders to develop branded displays
  • Ensure consistent brand visuals and messaging across all event materials

Logistics & On-Site Execution

  • Arrange shipping and transportation of booth materials and promotional items
  • Manage setup, breakdown, and onsite staffing and troubleshooting
  • Support company’s annual client summit planning, including logistics and hospitality

Marketing & Promotion

  • Coordinate pre- and post-event marketing initiatives with the broader marketing team
  • Oversee development of promotional collateral and giveaways
  • Assist with CRM lead tracking and sales team outreach

Budgeting & Reporting

  • Manage event budgets and report on spend and performance
  • Track and analyze event outcomes including lead volume and ROI
  • Provide detailed post-event reports and strategic recommendations

Team & Sales Coordination

  • Train and prepare internal staff for event participation
  • Facilitate communication and alignment with sales and leadership teams
  • Schedule and lead pre- and post-show briefings

 

Required Qualifications and Skillset:

  • 3+ years of experience in event planning, trade shows, or related roles
  • Proven success managing complex events and logistics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities
  • Comfort working independently and managing deadlines under pressure
  • Creative problem-solving with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite, CRM, and event software experience a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours during events and travel up to 25%
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

 

Salary Range:

$65,000 – $75,000 annually
