Temporary Document Scanning Assistant (1099 Contractor)

Duration: 4 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Location: Fort Worth, TX
Compensation: $20.00 per/hr
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (No benefits)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and computer-savvy individual to assist with a short-term document scanning project. This project will last approximately 4 weeks, with a full-time schedule of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. The selected individual will work side by side with the senior leadership of the company to ensure all documents are prepared, scanned, and organized accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare physical documents for scanning (removing staples, sorting, organizing, etc.)

Operate high-speed document scanners

Ensure scanned documents meet quality standards

Organize and reassemble documents post-scan

Maintain confidentiality and security of all client information

Follow detailed instructions and daily workflow processes

Accurately label and file digital documents as directed

Requirements:

Must be computer savvy and comfortable with scanning software and basic file management

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Must be able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision

Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time

Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 25 lbs

Dependable with punctual daily attendance

Business casual attire required each day

Comfortable working independently and in close collaboration with the CEO

Additional Information:

This is a 1099 contractor position; no benefits are provided

Prior document handling or scanning experience is a plus but not required

Must have reliable transportation and a professional demeanor
