Marketing Intern – Beauty Industry (Chicago, IL)

Are you passionate about marketing and beauty? Tony Odisho, a leading Chicago-based beauty brand, is seeking a dynamic Marketing Intern to join our team! We specialize in both B2B and B2C sales, offering premium hair extensions, hair care products, professional styling tools, and industry-leading certification courses for licensed stylists.

Location: On-site (Chicago, IL)
Type: Internship (Part-Time or Full-Time, based on availability)
Compensation: Paid or school credit (to be discussed)

What You'll Do:

As a Marketing Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience across all areas of marketing while supporting the growth of a beauty brand that works with both professionals and consumers. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with digital marketing campaigns (email, social media, influencer collaborations)
  • Creating content for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
  • Supporting marketing efforts for product launches and promotions
  • Contributing ideas and strategies to grow brand awareness and customer engagement
  • Helping with B2B outreach to salons and stylists
  • Participating in planning and execution of educational events and certification programs
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis
  • Assisting with website and eCommerce updates

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has a background or strong interest in marketing, communications, or related fields
  • Is passionate about the beauty industry
  • Brings fresh ideas and follows through with execution
  • Has strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Is organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Understands social media trends and content creation
  • Has experience with design tools (like Canva, Adobe, or similar) – a plus
  • Has experience with Shopify for customer segmentation and more
  • Is available to work from our Chicago office
