Marketing/Ecommerce Intern – SEO Focus

Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Intern with a primary focus on SEO and Digital Marketing. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing within the luxury home décor and furniture industry. While SEO will be your main focus, you'll also gain exposure to affiliate marketing, copywriting, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in executing on-page and technical SEO optimizations (meta tags, schema, alt tags, broken link audits).
  • Support keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap audits.
  • Collaborate on the creation of SEO-driven content, including blogs, collection pages, and style guides.
  • Assist in backlink outreach and affiliate marketing platform management (training provided).
  • Contribute to copywriting for website, email marketing, and paid media
  • Monitor and report on key KPIs using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and others.
  • Support ecommerce initiatives like optimizing product descriptions, improving UX, and aiding in CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) tasks.
  • Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns, social media, and promotions.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Coursework or prior experience in marketing, communications, ecommerce, or related fields.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles (on-page, off-page, technical)—a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing platforms is a plus.
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Interest in analytics, understanding KPIs, and data-driven decision making.
  • Proficiency with tools like Google Docs, Sheets, and willingness to learn marketing platforms (e.g., Listrak, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Pinterest Ads, etc.).
  • Passion for home décor, design, and lifestyle content is a bonus.
