Non-Driver - LTD FAR Shop - Diesel Mechanic
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 12:30 PM - 10:30 PM - (4 10-hr shifts)
Pay: $31 - $38 / hour
The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for routine and preventative maintenance, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engine semi-tractors and trailers.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in tractors and trailers.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on tractors and trailers.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Perform intermediate repairs such as HVAC, ABS, aftertreatment diagnosis and repairs, APUs, communication, and tracking systems.
- Maintain detailed records of work completed by Magnum guidelines, including parts used and repairs performed.
- Performs, trains, and mentors entry-level technicians by providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies while handling tools and chemicals.
- Qualified to perform OEM warranty work.
