Association located in Montgomery County seeks a temporary-to-permanent Associate Meeting Planner to assist with the logistics of company conferences and workshops.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate onsite and virtual meeting logistics by handling registration, room setup, and audio-visual elements.
- Provide support to the registration process by establishing pricing setup, discounts, and special offers.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to create and track timelines for planning committees.
- Coordinate meeting sponsorship items and develop printed materials and signage for sponsorship recognition.
- Generate attendee lists, evaluations, and event tickets.
- Prepare meeting supplies such as name badges and tent cards.
- Coordinate webinars and develop and maintain event websites.
- Assist with implementation of education programs and learning management systems.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Effectively manages and prioritizes tasks in a fast-paced working environment.
- Sound judgment and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Customer service oriented.
- Demonstrated professionalism.
- Experience managing webinars and virtual events.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and virtual meeting platforms.
- Experience using iMIS or similar CRM databases preferred.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, education, or related field.
- At least one (1) year of experience working in a meetings position.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Rate: $20 – $22 per hour while temping.
Salary: $50,000 – $75,000 per year once permanent
