Receiving Clerk

Job Title: Receiving Clerk
Reports To: Corporate Shipping
Location: Chino, CA 
Department: Shipping & Receiving

Position Summary 

The Receiving Clerk plays a pivotal role in making sure all product is received in a timely manner within the electronics industry.  

Job Duties

The Receiving Clerk is to make sure all packages are handed over to the appropriate personnel. 

Receiving Purchase Orders, labeling and verifying all part numbers are correct as they come in.

Report any damaged boxes to purchasing department or notify the team of any discrepancies and/or short shipments. 

Receiving sample orders and personal packages.  

Receiving customer owned units sent in for annual calibrations. 

Receive transfer orders and notify production whenever raw goods are needed. 

Receive in Return Orders.

When caught up, you will be asked to help pick and package orders on the Shipping side.

Load/ Unloading shipment with a forklift.  No certificate required, we will train you here.

 

Consolidating

As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk you will be responsible for placing product away, consolidating and making sure the warehouse is in neat condition.   This helps improve our inventory count and increases productivity. 

 

Qualifications & Skills 

The ideal candidate needs to have effective communication skills and must possess a strong mathematical background. 

Self-starter with minimal supervision after having a good foundation in training. 

Must be able to push, pull and carry more than 60 lbs.

Must be able to stand and walk for 4-8 hours daily depending on your schedule.

Must have reliable transportation with a valid drivers license. 

Must be able to keep up working in a fast paced environment.
