Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the Mobile Client Service Representative (MCSR) is to provide courier service between several Post Office locations, the Bank, and its clients’ place of business. The MCSR also performs business development, and customer service-related duties. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, continuously supporting the clients’ business banking needs through a variety of efforts including handling inquiries, requests, and transactions, and acting as a mobile courier, multi-tasking sales and service representative for the Bank.
Duties included: collection of client-related documents and materials and visiting several Branch locations each day. The new associate would be responsible for one of four assigned routes which entail roughly 30 stops each day. When not on route, the associate may be collecting items from the local post office or dropping off supplies to one of our many clients centered events. Days are rarely the same as our support for many different departments is sure to require adjustments, so we ask that any candidate be flexible and willing to accept changing priorities. The Bank will provide necessary training and get new associates up to speed; we just need candidates to be reliable and the desire to promote the customer experience. Must be insured to drive a Fremont Bank vehicle through the company insurance provider.
Additional duties might include:
30 Courier stops, sorting mail, receiving and delivering incoming items through our SCLogic Tracking System in a fast and accurate manner. You may end up delivering items on a 3-building campus, sorting and prioritizing delivery of mail and packages: collecting and accurately processing all outgoing postal mail from every department. In addition, you will be processing outgoing shipments via UPS, FedEx, DHL, and the USPS. The MCSR also works alongside the Procurement and Facilities Departments as needed for companywide events.
Role and Responsibilities
- Delivers documents and supplies to designated business account clients and key clients.
- Accepts and delivers deposits to appropriate destination(s).
- Assists clients with inquiries by routing questions to appropriate bank personnel, or by providing answers directly.
- Follows an established, logical timeline and delivery route schedule.
- Handles Mail Services: correctly directing all interoffice mail, processing all externally received items between the bank headquarters, both operations buildings, and all of the bank’s retail branches. This position also involves processing a high volume of mail through different machines on a daily basis. After an introductory period, you must be able to prioritize each of these tasks on a daily basis.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid California driver’s license and clean DMV record required – must be able to be insured by Fremont Bank provider
- Previous courier experience not required
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of banking products is a plus
- Previous customer service and sales experience is a plus
- Ability to organize and manage their time effectively
- Knowledge of PC Computers – Windows, MS Word, and Excel
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs. - this is a physically active position requiring the ability to: load and unload different mail processing machines, bending and reaching for materials near machinery and walking for multiples periods of time. On a regular basis, this position includes moving some heavy items – paper boxes (up to 50 lbs. each), supplies, staged shipments and on rare occasions, electronics (up to 100 lbs. - rarely)
