We are seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineer Intern to join our team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience developing real-world applications, contributing to team projects, and applying software engineering principles to help solve problems for our organization.
- Analyze problems: Break down problem statements and identify issues
- Design solutions: Create scalable solutions using software engineering principles
- Develop software: Write, debug, and test software that instructs computers to perform tasks
- Build automation connections to improve business processes
- Build an Internal App for our organization
- Help transfer data over to a new website platform
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing applications
- Collaborate with the management team to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions
Skills and Experience Preferred:
- Experience designing interactive applications
- Ability to develop software in Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++ or other programming languages
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Experience with test-driven development
- Proficiency in software engineering tools
