We’re currently looking for a Field Manager to lead our landscape team through mid-November, with some winter work and the opportunity to build a lasting role and grow with our company.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and support a landscape crew maintaining high-quality residential and commercial properties
- Serve as the primary field leader, setting the standard for quality, professionalism, and efficiency
- Train team members in horticultural techniques, safety practices, and productivity standards
- Mentor crew members and leads through regular feedback and hands-on support
- Coordinate scheduling, supplies, and documentation with the office team
- Communicate with clients during site visits and walk-throughs to ensure satisfaction
- Work alongside your team in the field (10–30 hours/week) to model a strong work ethic and team culture
- Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to company-wide growth
What We’re Looking For:
You’re a great fit if you’re a respectful, reliable team player with strong communication skills and a passion for plants, nature, and environmental stewardship. You lead by example, enjoy helping others grow, and bring a balance of hands-on skill and thoughtful leadership. You're organized, self-motivated, open to feedback, and committed to continuous learning.
You should be confident in guiding your team in:
- Identifying common perennials, weeds, shrubs, annuals, and trees
- Weeding, deadheading, edging, mulching, planting, raking, and applying organic sprays (deer, insect, herbicides)
- Installing annuals, perennials, shrubs, and small trees correctly and efficiently

Starts at $22–$25/hr depending on experience.
Full-time, seasonal, with minimal winter duties. Full workdays mandatory.
This hybrid role requires a computer, reliable internet, and a quiet space at home for periodic administrative work outside of time in the field or client meetings. Must have a valid driver’s license; clean driving record is a plus.
