JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and self-motivated Marketing Communications Specialist with a strong “can-do” attitude to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of all marketing communication platforms, experience working in a large corporate environment, and a proven ability to manage consistent outreach to customers and distributors. Familiarity with Salesforce and a clear understanding of how leads are managed and closed is essential.
This role also requires experience in designing and implementing quarterly newsletters, along with the ability to analyze performance metrics and report on engagement and effectiveness using tools like Google Analytics for the Website.
In addition, the successful candidate must be able to collaborate effectively with both the engineering and sales teams to develop appropriate promotional content and product training materials that align with business goals and customer needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Communication & Branding
- Develop and execute integrated marketing communication strategies aligned with company goals.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms and materials.
Content Creation & Campaign Management
- Create, manage, and optimize content for digital and print media, including social media (primarily LinkedIn), email campaigns, brochures, and direct mail.
- Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives to support product launches and brand awareness.
- Design and distribute engaging quarterly newsletters and analyze performance metrics to improve future campaigns.
Digital Marketing & Analytics
- Oversee website content and monitor user engagement using tools like Google Analytics to optimize reach and effectiveness.
- Design and implement monthly social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Lead & Database Management
- Maintain and optimize lead generation databases to support sales and marketing initiatives.
- Utilize Salesforce to track, manage, and analyze lead generation and conversion. Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment and follow-through on marketing-generated leads.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering and sales teams to develop promotional content and product training materials that align with business objectives.
Budgeting & Reporting
- Develop and manage the marketing communications budget.
- Track performance metrics and prepare reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Skilled in writing, editing, and composing professional materials.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing, advertising principles, media strategies, funding sources, and communication techniques.
- Experienced in media coordination, event planning, and advertising across multiple platforms.
- Proficient in budgeting, cost estimation, and fiscal management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; effective in diverse, collaborative environments.
- Advanced knowledge of desktop publishing and design software, including QuarkXPress, PageMaker, Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, FrontPage, Dreamweaver, and related tools.
- Skilled in operating standard office equipment and digital publishing peripherals (e.g., scanners, printers, removable media).
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
