Associate Medical Officer
Jamestown Family Health Clinic (JFHC) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Medical Officer (AMO) to join our leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for a clinical leader to significantly impact population health strategy, quality improvement, and the collaborative oversight of medical services within our community-focused clinic.
As an AMO, you will work in close partnership with our Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Quality Manager, playing a pivotal role in aligning medical care delivery with our population health goals. This includes optimizing patient registries, actively closing care gaps, and providing leadership for our outreach and chronic care teams.
This position offers a balanced 50/50 split between administrative leadership and direct clinical care. Your clinical time will focus on non-paneled patients, providing acute care, access support, and population health follow-up, ensuring you remain clinically engaged while driving innovation and operational success.
Compensation:
For Physicians (MD, DO): $223,942 - $313,518 annually.
For Mid-Level Providers (ARNP, PA): $159,397 - $223,156 annually.
Key Responsibilities:
Population Health Oversight:
Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of our population health initiatives.
Oversee the refinement and utilization of patient registries for chronic disease management and preventive care.
Guide systematic patient outreach strategies to enhance health equity and engagement.
Direct efforts to close care gaps across preventive, chronic, and behavioral health services.
Provide clinical leadership and supervision for the Clinical Diabetes Educator and Diabetes Prevention Team.
Strategic & Administrative Leadership:
Collaborate with the CMO and Quality Manager on quality improvement initiatives and monitoring key metrics.
Participate in Health Leadership Team (HLT) meetings to contribute to strategic decisions and operational planning.
Support provider onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing education to foster evidence-based practices and team development.
Contribute to program design and evaluation, aligning care delivery with value-based care objectives.
Clinical Duties:
Provide direct patient care to non-paneled patients, including urgent care, transitions of care, and targeted follow-ups aligned with population health goals.
Model high-quality, culturally competent, evidence-based care.
Provide clinical oversight for nursing staff, supporting skill development and quality improvement.
Assist with Infection Control and Employee Health program oversight.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Maintain clinical licensure and adhere to all professional, regulatory, and organizational policies, including HIPAA.
Support internal audits, risk management, and readiness for accreditation.
Qualifications:
Education & Licensure:
MD, DO, ARNP, or PA with an unrestricted license to practice in Washington State.
Current DEA Certificate without restriction and BLS Certification.
Enrollment in Medicare/Medicaid.
Experience:
Five (5) years of clinical experience working with a diverse patient population.
Three (3) years of supervisory or administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
Proven success in program planning, population health strategy, and team leadership.

Ability to travel locally and regionally, with a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background investigation.
