Job Title:                                                                   Membership Recruitment Specialist

Reports to:                                                                President & CEO 

Employment Status:                                                Non-exempt, Full-time 

Schedule:                                                                  40 hours, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Hours could vary frequently with special events and meetings, with prior CEO approval.

Education Requirement:                                         High School Diploma, some college preferred

Experience:                                                              Sales-related, Chamber of Commerce, not-for-profit, educator, trainer, or related experience or education

Pay Range:  $14.50 - $18.50 per hour, dependent on experience and budget

PURPOSE:  Plans, organizes, coordinates, and performs a wide variety of membership recruitment, membership training, and organizational-related functions in support of efficient operation and growth of the organization.

Skilled in Lead Generation

Skilled in making cold calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective members

Valid NM Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and appropriate vehicle insurance
