Paralegals provide support to attorneys by performing a broad range of paralegal functions. Paralegals are highly organized, handle pressure well, and understand the importance of deadlines.  They must also know how to relate to people in a variety of situations, be highly trustworthy, discreet, and use good judgment. They must have good research skills and a general knowledge of the legal industry.

  • Busy Bozeman civil law firm seeking a full-time legal assistant/paralegal to support attorneys in our civil practice.  
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, computer and document management skills a plus.  
  • Certification and continuing education courses are encouraged and supported by the firm.

  • Requirements
  • Previous experience in a professional office is desired but not required. Training provided for the right candidate. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office365, including Word; Excel; Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat 
  • Strong customer service, telephone and interpersonal skills are required to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Organize and maintain document files for electronic filing.
  • Draft reports, correspondence and legal documents.   
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality of client and firm information; understands and implements general rules of ethical behavior applicable to the legal profession
  • Write clearly and informatively, edits work for spelling and grammar, must be able to read and interpret written information 
  • Able to work under tight deadlines, handle multiple detailed tasks

  • Monday – Friday 8:00 – 5:00 in office
