Established in the Chicago Metropolitan area in 1955, Matanky Realty Group is a full-service real estate firm offering expertise in brokerage, acquisition, development, redevelopment, real estate consulting, leasing, and management.
This fast-paced role within a private commercial real estate group supports the marketing operations of several business groups, including our real estate and construction business units. As an important team member, you will create digital assets for strategic initiatives and provide graphic design services, including visual branding for the brokerage division and properties throughout Chicagoland. You will also support the business development of our growing construction group through your creativity. This role helps to execute and refine strategies to differentiate our company, support website maintenance, develop social and digital marketing content, deploy email campaigns, and more.
Responsibilities
- This individual must be highly organized and self-motivated to ensure that marketing operations run smoothly. Clear communication, a steadfast drive, and the ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment will serve the occupant of this position well
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro is necessary to create and edit creative content and materials
- Design and edit various print and digital materials such as brochures, postcards, informative company flyers, digital ads, social media graphics, property or service videos, and more
- Prior experience in creating email marketing campaigns through Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or HubSpot is necessary. Design creative and original emails on various topics, such as quarterly newsletter updates, property emails, and announcements. Record analytics and observations after the release of each campaign and manage the email subscriber database
- Confident and comfortable with using WordPress to create, update, and edit webpages across two company websites. Knowledge of HTML is a bonus, but not necessary
- Manage two social media accounts, posting daily on LinkedIn, Facebook, X, GoogleMyBusiness, and Instagram. This entails running and monitoring social ads on LinkedIn and Facebook, creating graphics for social media posts, writing copy, and manage social media marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Collaborate with the brokerage team to create signage and banners for properties
- Compile a list of qualified and compatible contacts for the print mailing list
- Organize logistics and operate booths at trade shows and actively seek new tradeshow opportunities
- Manage 80+ Commercial Real Estate listings across multiple listing services. Update, edit, add, and remove properties as needed.
- Write original blogs every week for MRG and MRGC. The topic can range from the completion of a recent project to industry insights and informative articles
- The individual must be a strong and compelling writer, as this is a very heavy writing position. From social media property posts to commercial construction blogs, a superb writing ability is essential to maintain the voice of both the Matanky Realty Group and MRGC brands
- Create and update personal promotional materials for each salesperson such as brag sheets, landing pages, and other materials
- Provide marketing support, including MarCom (marketing communications) and research to corporate, leasing, and construction divisions. Produce collateral and graphics that conform to brand standards
- Demonstrate high standards of personal and professional integrity that exhibit our company’s standards of excellence
- Assist in the planning and execution of corporate marketing initiatives for tradeshows and events
- Develop and maintain websites, newsletters, emails, social media campaigns, and ads
- Create and implement templates for e-blasts, social posts, website content, print publications, signs, and more
- Monitor and report monthly digital and social media results, execute digital strategy
- Create, Publish, and Manage ads on Google Ads. Keep a diligent record of analytics across these platforms on a month-to-month basis
- Manage vendor invoices and relationships
- Maintain increasing levels of knowledge, skills, and abilities through ongoing training and professional development
- Create and maintain a budget, bill back expenses as needed per agreements
- Organize inventory and posted locations of signs, banners, and all printed materials
- Recruit, interview, and supervise Marketing interns
- Other duties/opportunities as necessary-including property visits
- Produce quarterly marketing efforts and analytics updates/reports for Matanky Realty Group and per Property for Monthly Client Reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and design, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts
- Utilize marketing automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Assist in the progression of next year’s marketing strategy and growth by monitoring and analyzing key metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and CRE
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equal experience
- 2 years’ experience in graphic design/marketing/brand development, preferably in commercial real estate (CRE) or Construction
- A digital portfolio or website with work examples
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with project management systems such as Monday.com
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, WordPress, SEO, Mailchimp
- Knowledge of how to navigate and operate CRE services, Costar, Crexi, SalesForce
- Outrageous curiosity, endless determination, sense of humor, and fearless drive
- Technologically savvy and resourceful with a problem-solving attitude
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to effectively juggle multiple tasks and marketing strategies to promote our products and services
