Internship: Graphics and Media Intern @ Blue Voice
ROLE: Paid Internship as graphics and media intern for Blue Voice, creating powerful visual aides to support nation-wide sales efforts. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and will close once the position is filled.
COMPANY: Blue Voice is a high-growth, VC-backed startup providing ML-enabled software to first responders. Founded by first responders and Wharton and Harvard MBAs, Blue Voice answers questions on law, policy, first aid, and community resources.
The software is used hourly in the field by paying customers to help access critical information. Blue has helped officers de-escalate tense situations, follow mental health protocols, and make arrests in high profile situations such as a school shooting threat and assault with a deadly weapon. Blue has expanded across 200+ police departments across several states and is aiming to develop nation-wide.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Blue Voice is in need of a graphics and media intern to aid with creating powerful visual aides to support national sales operations. The core responsibilities of the job include:
- Creating state-specific sales and marketing material
- Supporting the sales team creating material for their use based on off-of requests (ex. one-pagers, software comparisons, etc)
- Creation o
- Maintaining the brand asset library through organizing logos, templates, and completed creatives so the sales and customer-success teams can quickly find what they need
- Running competitive & audience research through pulling screenshots, messaging examples, and demographic data that feed our campaign and state-expansion decisions.
- Creating a replicable process for future graphics and media efforts through the creation of widely-applicable templates and processes
The CEO and Chief of Staff will invest in mentoring the intern, supporting their professional development, and ensuring exposure to core concepts in startups and venture capital.
COMPENSATION & REQUIREMENTS:
- Availability to continue in a part time role year-round is a must.
- Experience in graphics and media is required.
- Experience in video editing is also required.
- Blue Voice is a fully-remote company.
- Pay is $15-$20 per hour depending on skills & experience.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
In order to get an understanding of your experience in graphic design, we would like to see the creation of a sample marketing graphic that we would use in the field. Feel free to do some research on our website, https://www.bluevoice.io/, as well as throughout our App store app. Please make the graphic specific to either TX or FL police officers, doing research on departments in the state you choose. Feel free to make up any information/numbers that you would like to add to further the impact of the document. Below are some guidelines:
- The one-page graphic should be specific to Blue Voice usage in FL or TX.
- Include any numbers you would like, do not worry about accuracy.
- The document must be submitted in a format such as Canva or Adobe, where we can edit the document.
- The goal of the document is to inform police departments of the Blue Voice software, and to show them the potential we have in their department, including regional credibility.
