Novak Francella LLC is a certified public accounting firm of approximately 150 professionals with offices in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Our clients are located in eleven states and operate primarily in the employee benefit plan and labor/membership organization industries.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking audit interns to work in our New York City office.  

Duties:

- Obtains and documents a basic understanding of clients’ internal control policies and procedures; tests operating effectiveness. 

- Completes audit work papers and performs audit testing procedures on audit areas fundamental to the financial statements.

- Assists the Staff in preparing financial statements including required footnotes and supplemental schedules.

Skills/Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in process.

- Strong written/verbal communication skills

- Effective time management skills

- Familiarity with Word and Excel

- Candidates must have a vehicle that can be used for work travel
