Contracts and Proposal Research Intern
Position Summary
JE Technology Solutions, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of aircraft ground support equipment for fall protection, is seeking a talented and motivated student to join our team as an intern. This role offers the opportunity to work closely within a collaborative environment, supporting cross-functional teams including Estimating, Sales and Engineering. The intern will play a role in identifying client needs, conducting outreach, and helping tailor our products and services to solve real-world problems. This role requires a blend of technical curiosity, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering customer-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze potential client systems, processes, or technical needs to identify opportunities for improvement using JE Technology's products.
- Work to understand the specific needs of clients and match them with the company’s capabilities.
- Gather feedback from clients and relay insights to the Sales and Estimating teams for solution development.
- Interact directly with potential clients to gather insights into their operations, challenges, and business goals.
- Collaborate with the Estimating Team to develop custom solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Support the creation of client proposals, including benefits, pricing structures, and implementation timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, findings, and proposal components.
- Participate in product and capability training to understand JE Technology’s full suite of services and machinery.
- Travel Requirements: This position does not have any requirements for travel.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Students who are currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Business with Technical Focus, or related field.
- Preference will be given to students in their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year.
- Strong interest in technical sales, client relationship building, and manufacturing solutions.
- Familiarity with a manufacturing environment and some previous learning or other exposure to machining, welding, bending, and cutting processes.
