
Grant Research and Fundraising Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to assist with identifying grant opportunities and to support the setup and management of our fundraising platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in grant research, organizational fundraising strategies, and familiarity with digital fundraising tools to help expand our funding sources and streamline our donation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify relevant grant opportunities aligned with the organization’s goals and programs.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of potential grants, deadlines, and application requirements.
- Assist in preparing and organizing grant proposals, reports, and related documentation.
- Support the setup, configuration, and management of online fundraising and donation platforms such as [e.g., DonorBox, GiveLively, Classy].
- Collaborate with team members to develop engaging campaigns and donor communication strategies.
- Monitor and analyze fundraising platform performance, providing insights to optimize giving channels.
- Provide general administrative support related to grant applications and fundraising activities.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in grant writing and digital fundraising.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in grant research, writing, or fundraising support.
- Familiarity with online fundraising platforms and tools.
- Excellent organizational and research skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of nonprofit or related sector preferred.
- Attention to detail and deadline management.
