Math Teacher (Long Term Substitute)

The Wayne County Schools Career Center is accepting applications for the position of:

 

MATH TEACHER (Long Term Substitute)

 

STARTING DATE:  August 13, 2025 - October 16, 2025

 

SALARY:  Substitute salary schedule

 

REPORTS TO:  Amy Tietz, Academic Supervisor

 

WORK WEEKNEAR:  As per board-adopted calendar

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

       • An Integrated Mathematics License issued by the Ohio Department of Education.  
       • Any qualifications required by the Wayne County Schools Career Center Board of Education.
       • BCI and FBI criminal records results less than one-year old must be
          submitted prior to initial employment.

 

BASIC FUNCTIONS:  To provide effective standards based instruction. This responsibility in volves preparation and planning, both long range and immediate; understanding and applying effective professional teaching methods; and developing and maintaining effective pupil, parent and community relationships.

 

DESIRABLE

QUALIFICATIONS:  • Proven ability to develop curriculum
                                • Prior experience working with high school age students
