Document Coordinator

DOCUMENT COORDINATOR

 

Job description 

Baystate Interpreters, Inc. is a Language Service Provider located in Gardner, MA that provides high quality translations and interpretation services. Baystate is currently looking to add a full-time Document Coordinator in the Translations Department that is a team player with a passion for languages, meticulous eye for detail, and possesses a disciplined approach to organization. 

 

Responsibilities 

·       Responsible for working as a team member in the Translations Department, working with staff, sales and customers ensuring all project deadlines are met 

·       Format, review and approve translations as needed 

·       Manage localization projects from beginning to end, working closely with translators, internal production team as well as sales and services team 

·       Monitor and document project status 

·       Managing a high volume of material 

Skills 

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

·       Project management 

·       Customer Service oriented 

·       Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat, HTML, XML, Google products

·       Multi-tasking and organizational skills 

·       Conversion Software 

·       Exceptional attention to detail 

·       Experience and working knowledge of MS Office, desktop publishing, Adobe Cloud, workflow management 

·       Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors 

·       Ability to problem solve and work independently when needed. 

·       Bilingual a plus but not necessary
