About MLDR:

Major League Drone Racing (MLDR) is a next-generation sports entertainment league where the worlds of esports, motorsports, and drone technology collide. We host high-speed drone racing events across the country, bringing together pilots, fans, and cutting-edge broadcast production to create an unforgettable experience.

We’re seeking talented, creative, and driven individuals to help capture the thrill of the race from every angle — and tell the MLDR story through content.

About the Role:

As a Videographer & Photographer Intern, you’ll work directly with our content and creative teams to capture dynamic visuals at live MLDR events, behind-the-scenes moments, and the personalities that power the league. You’ll be essential in creating social media content, recap reels, and storytelling visuals that bring our races to life for fans around the world.

Responsibilities:

Capture high-quality video and photo content during MLDR events

Film drone races, pilot interactions, fan moments, stage performances, and sponsor activations

Support pre-race setup and post-race interviews with B-roll and social content

Organize, label, and transfer footage to MLDR’s media team

Assist with editing short clips for social media (if capable)

Collaborate with the broadcast team to ensure coverage is consistent with the MLDR brand

Follow event timelines and safety protocols while filming

 What We’re Looking For:

Passion for videography, photography, and visual storytelling

Experience using DSLR or mirrorless cameras for photo and video

Understanding of framing, lighting, and motion tracking

Creative instincts and strong attention to detail

Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-energy environments

Self-motivated with good communication skills

Must be 17+ with a portfolio or samples of past work

 Bonus If You Have:

Drone video experience or knowledge of FPV racing

Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Lightroom, or Photoshop

Interest in esports, motorsports, or event production

Social media content creation experience (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
