Bay Area Content Assistant (Entry-Level)
(Also known as: Community Content Creator, Junior Content Producer, Local Media Coordinator)

We’re hiring an Entry-Level Content Assistant to help us spotlight the San Francisco Bay Area—its people, neighborhoods, businesses, events, new developments, and real estate trends. This is a writing-heavy, research-driven creative role ideal for someone who lives online and loves sharing what makes the Bay so special.

🔍 What You’ll Do:

Research local stories—from new cafes and upcoming developments to market trends and community events

Write scripts, captions, and content for short-form videos, IG/TikTok posts, and carousels

Use tools like ChatGPT to brainstorm, write, summarize, and optimize content

Plan and publish across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube

Support on location for shoots around Bay Area neighborhoods, real estate listings, restaurants, and lifestyle stories

Collaborate with our media and real estate team to develop relevant, local-first content

🎯 You Might Be a Fit If You:

Are based in or near the Bay Area (this is a local role)

Write clearly, quickly, and with personality (text, captions, scripts)

Are comfortable using or learning AI tools like ChatGPT, Notion AI, Canva Magic Write, etc.

Are curious, self-starting, and love researching what’s new and next

Are organized and able to work within deadlines/content calendars

Want to build experience in media, social, or real estate content marketing

🎥 Bonus Points:

Comfortable being on camera (optional, but encouraged—we’d love to feature you)

Familiar with CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or native IG/TikTok editing tools

Experience running your own or someone else’s social media account, newsletter, blog, etc.

📄 Application Info:

Location: Must be Bay Area–based (in-person shoots/visits required)

Type: Part-time or contractor to start, with room to grow

Pay: Hourly, DOE
