Operations Manager

Position Summary

We’re looking for a proactive, organized, and resourceful Operations Manager to help coordinate the internal day-to-day operations of our 9-station Las Vegas radio cluster. This is a leadership role focused on creating smooth workflows, strong interdepartmental alignment, and great energy across the team.

We want someone who brings good vibes, keeps morale high, and knows how to jump between programming, promotions, sales, and IT—making sure everyone’s connected, focused, and working toward the same goal: growing audience, boosting ratings, and strengthening all Lotus Las Vegas brands.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Cross-Team Coordination

  • Partner with the General Manager to lead and implement station-wide priorities.
  • Collaborate with Programming, Promotions, Sales, and Engineering to ensure departments are aligned and operating efficiently.
  • Help coach and support programming teams in implementing strategies to grow ratings and audience engagement.
  • Act as a positive force in the building—encouraging teamwork and keeping energy high.

Systems & Vendor Management

  • Own and manage a centralized system for tracking internal work orders (engineering, IT, facilities, equipment).
  • Monitor progress, hold vendors accountable, and ensure timely resolution of all operational needs.
  • Maintain clean documentation of recurring issues, timelines, and vendor performance.

Event & Promotion Execution

  • Oversee execution of on-air promotions, remotes, and live broadcasts—ensuring on-brand presence at all events reflect the energy and professionalism of our brands.
  • Collaborate with Promotions and Programming on event planning, staffing, signage, setup, and wrap-up.
  • Support internal morale-building events like team lunches and volunteer days.

Marketing & Brand Support

  • Work with Programming, Promotions, and the GM to bring marketing ideas to life—social media, on-site branding, listener engagement, etc.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in radio operations and programming management. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities with excellent follow-through
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn tools like Trello, Asana, or equivalent tracking systems 
  • Basic IT understanding (e.g., office tech setups and troubleshooting workflows)
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
  • Availability for some evening and weekend events

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced, high-energy broadcast environment
  • Mix of office work and hands-on event execution
  • Occasional lifting and physical setup (signage, event gear, etc.)

Includes some evening/weekend hours tied to key events
