Purpose:
Our purpose is to spread the Gospel from east to west to north to south, bringing the word of His Glory
to the world and allowing the His Glory family to find community and grow in their faith.

Job Title: Youth Pastor (Full-Time)
Location: In-Person | Mount Pleasant, Texas
Reports To: Leadership Team
Position Overview:
His Glory is seeking a dedicated and spirit-led Youth Pastor to shepherd, disciple, and develop the
next generation of believers. This full-time, in-person role is ideal for a male candidate who feels
called to lead and mentor youth through Bible-based teaching, relationship-building, and impactful
programming aligned with our ministry’s mission and values. This position requires the ability to lead
both digitally and in person, as our permanent worship center is currently in development and
expected to open next year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead weekly youth services, Bible studies, and discipleship programs for middle
and high school students—delivered both in-person and through digital platforms as needed
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with youth and their families
• Organize and lead youth events, retreats, mission trips, and service opportunities
• Recruit, train, and oversee youth ministry volunteers and leadership team
• Provide spiritual guidance, mentorship, and pastoral care to students
• Collaborate with leadership to align youth programming with the overall vision of His Glory
• Support broader His Glory events by offering pastoral presence, leadership, and prayer—on
stage and behind the scenes
• Uphold and model a life of integrity, godliness, and Biblical leadership
• Maintain communication with parents and caregivers, keeping them engaged and informed
Preferred Qualifications:
• Male candidate with a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Previous experience in youth ministry or pastoral leadership
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to teach Scripture clearly and relevantly to today’s youth
• Must live locally or be willing to relocate to Mount Pleasant, Texas
• Comfortable utilizing digital tools and platforms to reach and disciple youth
