Strategic Operations Intern

Location: Special set-up: Please note that we are working from hackerhouses in LatAm currently. This means that we are staying in large AirBnbs, living and working from one place as the whole team - currently in Medellín. This is very intense and very fun. Please only apply when you are open to join in-person here, we will only relocate to the US in a few months and DO NOT SUPPORT remote. Thanks!

Your Mission: We’re experiencing rapid growth, with hundreds of exceptional candidates approaching us daily. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring these candidates enjoy an exceptional journey, connecting them to career-defining opportunities at some of the most elite startups globally. This is a mission-critical role.

As a Strategic Ops Intern, you’ll directly impact our mission to make Clera the go-to platform for both ambitious talent seeking remarkable opportunities and leading companies hiring exceptional candidates. We’re looking for ambitious, driven overachievers ready to take ownership, drive initiatives, and shape the future of talent acquisition.

Founding Team: 

  • Sebastian (CEO): Serial marketplace founder; scaled learning platform naklar.io to 10k users and built AI-agent products for European manufacturers. 
  • Daniel (CTO): Founding several VC-funded start-ups, Head of Engineering leading a 15 people team. 
  • Alexander (COO): Scaled SaaS to 10M ARR as Chief of Staff, worked across recruiting (800 interviews, 30 hires) and GTM. Also see getclera.com/about Intensely non-remote & hardcore

Current set-up:

  • Hacker-Houses in LatAm (currently Medellín), possibly soon: SF
  • Live & build with small founding team—think YC sprint, but sunny & adventures
  • Zero commute, 10× feedback loops & team bonding
  • Our international team flew in from Germany, Canada, Sweden
  • Working on the largest talent market - the US - on the same time zone
  • It’s very intense but also extremely productive & fun when team lives and works from the same AirBnb
