Ideastream Public Media, a Cleveland-based media organization and home to Ohio’s largest NPR, PBS and classical radio stations, serving 22 counties in Northeast Ohio with its trusted, in-depth, high-quality local news and information service seeks an organized administrative professional to serve as our Events and Engagement Manager to ensure that audience cultivation events meet our strategic objectives while also strengthening our brand as we serve the greater Northeast Ohio community. Working as the lead on the Events and Engagement interdepartmental team, the Events and Engagement Manager coordinates the successful planning and implementation of donor and audience cultivation events. In this role, you will communicate and respond to inquiries via phone and email from various stakeholders, partners, freelancers, and vendors, organize and maintain electronic and paper file systems, maintain the centralized community engagement calendar, and process departmental invoices and mail. This position will also have responsibility for recruiting Ideastream’s volunteers and managing the corresponding database.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and three to five years of experience working in audience/member engagement, marketing, fundraising, and/or event planning, though an equivalent of experience in related fields and education will be considered. A working knowledge of media content creation is preferred. The salary for this position is $52,000—$60,000 and is commensurate with experience.
