Transit Operations Internship

Overview of Position:   
  
Pay $ 22.00/hr   
    
The summer will be spent on an assigned Transit Center within Transdev’s 32,500-mile system. During this assignment, the intern will learn to manage transit operations. Selected interns will  observe our best in class safety briefings throughout the shift with drivers dispatchers, maintenance employees and other Transdev Team Members. Selected Interns will also complete all assigned projects and programs under the supervision of a Transdev General Manager    
   
Key Responsibilities:    
   
Perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the transportation center
   
Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others
   
Apply discipline-specific principles through involvement in meaningful projects to expand technical and business skills
   
Assist with the planning, designing, and constructing of the signal and communications project for the Red Purple Modernization
   
Disciplines include; Transportation, Management, and Project Management
   
Internship Requirements:    
   
18 Years or Older   
   
Junior or Senior at UC Davis Fully Accredited University majoring in    
   
Business
Operations Management
Transportation **
Project Management
