I wish I would of had more client exposure.

I would definitely read as much as I can before being prepare. I would take a crash course on excel!! I would network with different people on the teams before hand and ask them how I can prepare.

Private Wealth Management Intern

June - August 2018 • New York City, NY

What I liked

Got the opportunity to work with a really great team which is what made my experience. They were more than willing to answer all my questions and really cared about my success and wanted me to learn.

What I wish was different

I honestly can't think of anything that I would want to change about the experience.

Advice

Don't be discouraged if you dont get an offer from the first company you interview with. I had to go through lots of rejection from companies before I interviewed and got an offer from UBS. My advice is that you need to be really eager, persistent and genuinely interested in the kind of work this company does.

Investment Banking Intern

June - August 2018 • New York City, NY

What I liked

Amazing group culture, small teams gave me a lot of responsibility, good deal flow

What I wish was different

My intern group was a bit overstaffed so sometimes there wasn't always a ton of work to go around. That was variable for that summer and not a consistent trend.

Advice

The Georgetown network was invaluable throughout the recruiting process and in securing the return offer during the summer. Anyone who is going through the recruiting process should prioritize expanding that network and getting to know the great Georgetown UBS team.
