What I liked
Working for Robert Half was amazing. Not only did I get day-to-day experience, but the program was supplemented with professional development seminars and a well rounded knowledge of all departments that found interesting.
What I wish was different
I wish that more folks from Saint Mary's would have applied, because it is such a great experience, and very different from traditional accounting internships
Advice
Do not be afraid to tell your employer that you are interested in a different area of business. We had an intern who was a finance major with the finance internship and he expressed interest in information technology. He is currently working for Robert Half as an information tech consultant and it was all due to his last few weeks working in a different department that peaked his interest.

What I liked
I enjoyed that I got a lot of hands on experience doing tasks in Benefits, Recruiting, and Diversity/Inclusion. This gave me a feel of what a career in each of those departments would be like.

Don't be afraid to reach out to anyone and ask questions! Everyone there was super friendly and helpful and I learned so much.
