What I liked
What I wish was different
I wish that there was more structure to the internship. It was very project orientated so there was a lot of down time waiting on a co-worker to finish up something else so you could progress.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask what you can improve on!

What I liked
I love the culture at Kwik Trip, and everyone loves going to work everyday.

Advice
It is important to get your foot in the door at Kwik Trip. Find someone that works there or maybe apply to a position you wouldn't normally. Knowing someone at the company is super important. What helped me get the job before was connecting with an emplooyee that spoke at an AMA Alumni pannel.

What I liked
It is a fast pace job with opportunity for growth and rises. Very interactive, as I was put on register many times, some heavy lifting and hard work to keep up with food demands while maintaining low waste.
What I wish was different
Ordering for the store became troublesome as people moved from the store location and we were constantly out of some sort of food. As well as training for new people let a lot to be desired.
Advice
Be prepared to be put in odd situations and pushed out of your comfort zone, but that's how one moves on in commercial retail. Do not let bad experiences ruin your work day.
