Kualoa Ranch Hawai'i

About Kualoa Ranch Hawai'i

Kualoa Ranch Private Nature Reserve is a historic 4,000-acre working ranch and nature reserve on O'ahu's eastern shores, owned and operated by sixth through eighth generation descendants of its founder since 1850. Listed twice on the National Register of Historic Places, Kualoa is one of the most culturally and historically significant locations in Hawaiʻi — once considered a sacred place of refuge in ancient Hawaiian tradition.

Today, Kualoa is home to over 600 cattle, 120 horses, and 200 sheep, and offers guided tours across stunning terrain ranging from dense rainforest to open valleys and Kāneʻohe Bay. Recognized as Hollywood's "Hawaiʻi Backlot," the ranch has hosted 70+ major productions including Jurassic Park, Jumanji, and Lost.

With a team of 500+ employees, Kualoa is committed to sustainable tourism, cultural preservation, and environmental stewardship — ensuring these lands remain undeveloped and thriving for generations to come.
